Internet Speed Test

Help Improve Rural Broadband Service: Take This Home Internet Speed Test

Would you like to help bring faster home internet to our area? The Department of Public Instruction (DPI) is teaming with Measurement Lab (M-Lab) to collect data on internet connection speeds across Wisconsin through a simple Home Internet Speed Test. This data will be used to create detailed reports and to provide maps of internet speeds across the state to help Wisconsin’s Task Force on Broadband Access work on ways to improve internet speeds and performance.

In order to get an accurate picture of internet speeds around the state, they need a lot of data, which is where you come in. Take this simple Home Internet Speed Test today: Three clicks, no questions. It’s that easy!

Holiday Plans

Wonewoc Lighted Christmas Parade Set for December 12

While the pandemic has cancelled many holiday plans, we are happy to share that the annual Wonewoc Lighted Christmas Parade will be held on Saturday, December 12, at 6 p.m. Although the Library will not be able to hold our annual Simply Sax concert and visits with Santa due to COVID restrictions, there are many other activities at local businesses around town both before and after the parade, including a visit by a “special guest” at the American Legion Hall after the parade, with goodie bags for the kids provided by The Wonewoc Lions Club and the Wonewoc Fire Department!
