Simply Sax Concert and Visit With SANTA at the Library on Saturday, December 14, Following the Lighted Christmas Parade!
Wonewoc’s Annual Lighted Christmas Parade is coming on Saturday, December 14, beginning at 6 p.m. Immediately following the parade, the library will be offering a FREE Holiday Concert by local saxophone quartet Simply Sax! Light refreshments will be served. In addition, Santa will be hopping off his float and stopping by the library, where he’ll be available for pictures in front of our Christmas tree (please bring your own camera and/or phone for photos) and handing out treat bags, courtesy of the Wonewoc Lions and Wonewoc Fire Department! Be sure to join us for a little holiday cheer with wonderful music, good food, and great friends!!
The Library will be closed on Thursday, November 28, to celebrate Thanksgiving. We will be open normal business hours on Friday, November 29. We wish everyone a fun and safe holiday!
Elementary school students are invited to come to the library on Monday, November 18, to practice reading with therapy dog Murphy or his brother Archie and their owner, Deb Schultz. Children can bring their own books or pick books off the library shelves to read. Parents are asked to call the library at 608-464-7625 or stop in to sign their child up for a time slot. The slots available are 6:00 p.m., 6:15 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 6:45 p.m.

Trick or Treat at the Library
Calling all ghouls and ghosts! Trick or Treat at the Library on Halloween —Thursday, October 31, from 4-5:30 pm!
Paint Party At the Library!
Join us on Monday, September 30, from 4-7 pm for the latest art/craft event presented by Alicia Cosnahan and Rachelle Craig! Weather permitting, we will be repainting the library’s picnic table with a fun new design as well as painting the new community mural! Please stop by for this awesome group project!
Wags ‘N Tales is Back!
Wags ‘N Tales will be returning for the school year on Monday, September 16. And this time Murphy will also be bringing his brother, Archie, as another K-9 listener! Stop by the library or call to sign up today!

It wouldn’t be summer without a concert by Wonewoc favorite Leah Ina Marie Rachuj! New Group, The Jammers, Coming to Concerts on the Library Lawn!
We are thrilled to welcome a new group to our summer concert series–The Jammers! This band from Dutch Hollow plays a mix of great songs from the ’60s, ’70s and ’80s. Be sure to join us on the second-to-last concert of the season!!
The Holler is Back!
Join us on Monday, August 12, at 6:30 pm for the return of The Holler! This dynamic trio, made up of Abby Spencer, Ron Granberg and Wonewoc’s own Leah Ina Marie Rachuj, delivers a range of country music and originals with perfectly harmonizing vocals backed up by expert guitar, fiddle and percussion. Come on down to the library for a rockin’ evening of great music!
