The Tiara Ball is Back!
We are thrilled to announce the return of one of Wonewoc’s favorite events! The Friends of the Wonewoc Library’s annual Father/Daughter Tiara Ball will take place Saturday, April 29, 2023 from 6:30-9 p.m. This special evening is open to all princesses grades 4K-5 and their dads (or uncles, grandfathers or special friends). The cost is $15 per couple, and $5 for each additional princess, with each princess receiving her very own Tiara! Registration is limited, with an absolute deadline of April 19th – registration may close early due to full capacity. Forms can be picked up at the library, or register online using the link below.

Local Author John Armbruster to Speak at Wonewoc-Center’s Young Authors Celebration
The Wonewoc Public Library is thrilled to sponsor a presentation by local author John Armbruster as he speaks about his book Tailspin, the true survival story of a World War II tail gunner from Wisconsin. The event will be held at the Wonewoc-Center School as part of their Young Authors Celebration on Thursday, March 23. Mr. Armbruster’s 5 pm presentation is one of the many events happening throughout the day, including a presentation by local children’s author Helga Moser at 4 pm and work from all students in grades 4K-12th displayed in the upstairs gym. Juneau County Reads Author Event Tuesday, March 7!
You are invited to the culmination of our Juneau County Reads 2023 on Tuesday, March 3, at 6:30 pm at the historic Elroy Theatre! Join author Sue Berg as she talks about the writing process and her Jim Higgins Driftless Mystery series, set in La Crosse, WI. Refreshments will be available. This event is sponsored by your Juneau County Libraries: Wonewoc, Mauston, Elroy, New Lisbon and Necedah.

Uber is Coming to Juneau County!
Join us at the library on Thursday, March 2, to learn all about Uber in Juneau County, from how to create and account and drive safely, to how to become a paid Uber driver! Usage information sessions will be held at 2 and 4:30 pm, and driver information sessions will be held at 2:30 and 5 pm. See you there!
The Wonewoc Public Library is thrilled to announce a new video streaming platform, available for FREE with your library card! Kanopy is a great addition to your home streaming video library with narrative and documentary films, TV series, The Great Courses, as well as kids content! Just click on the Kanopy link under the Database tab on the menu to the right to get started!

Wags ‘N Tales This Monday, January 16
We still have a few spots open for Wags ‘N Tales Monday night! Elementary school students are invited to come to the library on Monday, January 16, to practice reading with therapy dog Murphy and his owner, Deb Schultz. Children can bring their own books or pick books off the library shelves to read. Parents are asked to call the library at 608-464-7625 to sign their child up for a time slot.
