Wonewoc Lighted Christmas Parade This Saturday at 6 PM!!
While the library will NOT be having its annual concert or visit from Santa this year, the parade is a GO! Come out on Saturday, December 11 at 6 pm to enjoy this cherished Wonewoc tradition!
Free Take and Make Kits Available at the Library
We are thrilled to offer free Take and Make Kits at the library, courtesy of Wonewoc-Center student Hadley Barreau and her mother, Friends of the Wonewoc Library President Jenny Barreau. Each month Hadley and Jenny will be sharing a new craft, with every Take and Make bag containing all that is needed to create that month’s craft at home. Stop by the library anytime to pick up your free kit!
Did you know November is Diabetes Month? Check out the informational display from the Wonewoc Lions Club all month at the library!
Trick or Treat at the Library
Calling all ghouls and ghosts! Although we will be closed on Sunday, October 31, we will be celebrating Halloween early–stop by anytime on Friday, October 29, for a treat. Costumes are optional!
Haunted Baraboo Book Talk TONIGHT at the Library!
Join local authors Gwen Herrewig (below left) and Shelley Mordini as they talk about their brand-new book, Haunted Baraboo! This free event will be held TONIGHT at 6:30 pm in the library community room. NOTE: Masks will be REQUIRED at this program. See you there!
Did You Know Exercise Class is Back?!?
While we had to take a pause during the beginning of the pandemic, and then again while Summer School met at the library, free exercises classes are back five days a week! Our chair yoga class meets Mondays and Wednesdays from 9-9:30 am. On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays our low-impact aerobic class meets from 9-9:30 am. The aerobics class works off of YouTube videos and can be done with or without weights, which are provided. Stretch bands are also provided that can be used in either class.
Stop by and join us anytime!
A HUGE thank you to the Friends of the Wonewoc Library for our amazing new chairs!
Stop by anytime and have a seat!!
The Wonewoc Public Library will be closed on Monday, September 6, for the Labor Day holiday. Have a safe and healthy holiday weekend!
Summer Reading Extended Through September 3!
Programming may be over, but we know you’re still reading! Summer Reading has been extended through Friday, September 3. Just stop by the library with your logsheets (kids through age 12), put the title of the book you read into our weekly drawing (teens and adults), or log reading time/books digitally through Beanstack and earn prizes through the “unoffical” end of summer!
